Sarah { Maternity and Family }

Hey guys!!
Meet the Billiot family!
I loved this family.
Sarah found me on Facebook one day and contacted me for her Maternity pictures. Then she told me these guys never had pictures together! Oh my goodness, I felt so honored. They were so so sweet and laid back:) Kaden is one handsome five year old  and such a sweet boy!
I can’t wait to see what baby Landon looks like:)
Congrats guys!!

I Heart Thursdays.

I love Thursdays. I always have.
Growing up in church my whole life, we’d go to church on Sundays,Wednesdays, and music practice on Mondays, so Thursdays have always been an off day. It’s the day before Friday! It’s a day of good t.v. shows and lazy nights. My dad would bake cookies and could chill with the family before he’d have to start preparing his message for Sunday service. I guess it’s my favorite because one of my top love languages is quality time and we get that on Thursdays:) It’s just been my favorite day of the week since as long as I can remember. Now, the absolute best time is Thursdays in the FALL! We love the Fall. South Louisiana’s weather in the Fall is perfect to me, not too cold not too hot. Just right. I’m getting so giddy and excited just thinking about what’s right around the corner:)
Happy Thursday!

I love cookies. I love chocolate chip cookies. I love peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and these are my new favorite .
They are not too peanut buttery and not too sweet. They’re are super gooey and super moist. And the best thing ever.

So, aside from enjoying photography, I LOVE to bake! I love food and am just now starting to enjoy my own cooking, but baking is my favorite.
One day, I wanna have a studio and bake lots of yummy treats for my clients when they come for their ordering session or baby session. I have so many dreams I want to see happen, I think I may be a little bit nuts. But I always dream big, so ya never know. But yeah so back to the cookies….

So, I first mix up all these yummy things.

I used 3/4 cup brown sugar and white sugar,one 8oz block of cream cheese, one stick of butter, and 3 huge tablespoons of creamy peanut butter.

Then you add your eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Mix.
Then slowly add your flour and  vanilla pudding mix( I know right?)

Here comes the best part. A whole bag of chocolate chips:)

Cora { Grow With Me }

Hey Hey!
Happy (Late)Friday!!
Cora hasn’t made it to the blog yet but has been a client for a few months now:)
Oh Cora. I love this little one. I love following her momma on Facebook and seeing all of her pictures on Instagram. Little miss ma’am didn’t wanna smile for me too much both days we did her 6 month shoot. One day it rained on us and the next day she just wanted to sleep.
Her momma Haley, is freaking awesome. Seriously, Haley, I love ya gal. She lets me be a little bit creative and trusts my judgement for each shoot AND she is just super super sweet. Cora was so sleepy for her shoot so Haley put her to sleep and we got some sleepy time shots.
OMG. I feel like every time I shoot Cora, I grow a little tiny bit. I always end up shooting something I’ve never shot before, whether it be a pose or whatever. I’ve wanted to shoot naked babies sleeping between the ages of 0-12months for a long time. Yep, I like them sweet chubby baby cheeks. :)
It’s just so doggon sweet and innocent. I love how these came out and love me some baby Cora<3

Jackson Three Month {Family Session}

I know I’ve been saying this a lot lately on Facebook and over on the blog, but I just can’t get enough of these babies! Every time someone schedules a session with me and it ends up being a Grow With Me Collection, my heart skips a beat. I am so very excited for all of my babies I get to photograph through out the year. If I could, I would love to have a couple of babies a month for the year. That’s a goal of mine so go tell ya frans ;)

So, Jackson’s mommy Jen scheduled his 3 month session ( family included ) and ended up doing the Collection. So now I get to see him for the rest of the year:) I can’t get over his little smile. As I was editing I would crack up laughing at his little popeye expression.
You can tell he will be such a little sweetheart. He totally stole my heart at his session. I’m looking forward to the next few months with this handsome boy.
Meet the Walker Fam:)

John Michael { Newborn }

Happy Day!!
Oh my goodness.
Let me just start this off right away. John was SO precious. He slept pretty much the whole time and let me move him around with little to no fuss. I love that little guy. His little lips and his little toes, ah, they melt me.
Side note: I want a baby. Like, really bad. I’ve had baby fever for two years now and think it’s time to finally have another;) I love love love all of my baby sessions but it’s not helping this fever one bit. Okay back to baby John :)
I love this little family. The light in their house was amazing! They had a little back room that I found mid family session and took full advantage of that beautiful light! Celeste and Michael are so cute together and so in love with this handsome boy, it shines through in their portraits:)
So looking forward to getting to know this beautiful family throughout the year:))
Check em out!

Petrella Family

Hey y’all!
So, some of you may know that I’m very fond of the Walker/Danos compound. I talk about them often and shoot their family and children’s portraits every so often:)
Well, Jamie Jo is the sister in law and this is HER lovely family:) This is another family that is becoming very close to my heart. I get so invested in my families that I photograph. We become friends and I genuinely care about them.
Mrs.Rose has let me shoot a couple of shoots on her property and I was so very happy when Jamie Jo asked me to come photograph them as a family. I was a little bit emotional editing them because Monday makes a year I lost my sweet grandma and I’m so glad Charley Rose will have these treasured memories with hers. Grandma and Grandpas are so so special and it’s nice to be able to have pictures of them and WITH them.
You’ll be seeing more of Charley Rose in a couple of weeks but for now here’s the beautiful Petrella Family:)

Charley {Newborn}

Okay. So you guys… I’ve wanted to photograph my clients at my house ever since I opened up shop.
I love going on location, but sometimes its nice to have a place for just you. I’ve done a few sessions here and they were awesome, but this time I got to shoot a full newborn session. I’m so excited!
I was so so happy when Ash said they’d rather have the session at my house. It was so relaxed!  I do love being able to go to my clients home and shoot there, its just a totally different session to me. But really, every session is different. I try to shoot a little different, or maybe focus on certain things that I didn’t with the client before. I try to make every session unique for each client, but yet have consistency. Makes sense? Here I am yet again blabbering away…. I’m just trying to get you to see where I’m coming from and why sometimes sessions may or may not look the same. It’s really just how the session flows:)

Anyways… Ash and Rance are so stinking cute together and baby makes three is even cuter! I love this couple. I could have sat and talked with Ashley another 3 hours about mommy and house stuff. Little Charley is so loved and so so gorgeous<3 Seriously, you guys did good. She’s adorable. Just look at that hair! :)

Ellie {Newborn}

Oh.My God.
I love love love newborn sessions. Love them ya heard. Babies are one of my most favorite clients to photograph. I love the squishiness and raw emotion I get from them. If I could book a newborn shoot every couple of weeks I would be a happy photog. So tell ya friends;) Haha.

Okay so back to Ellie. I am in love with this sweet little girl. She is so petite and her features are so dainty to me. I seriously love my little clients. Like I can’t even explain it. Maybe because I put my whole heart into my sessions that they kind of have a little piece of it.

Ellie. Number one, I love her name. Her name is Liora Elizabeth ( L E ), but they call her Ellie. How freaking cute is that!? She looks like an Ellie. hehe. Number Two, her parents are so doggon sweet. And her grandma, who was at the session for a little bit, was super super nice! That may seem totally lame for me to mention, but guys, being nice to me stands out so much. When you are super sweet and just genuinely kind , you got me.
Number three, I get to photograph this sweet baby for a whole year! I can’t even tell you how excited I am to be able to do that.
Grow With Me Collections are the best thing I ever did. It’s a win win on both sides. You get tons of pictures( TONS ) and I get to play with your baby all year long :)
BTW, thanks for taking the time to read my blog. I know I’m all over the place with introducing clients and my ramblings about how much I love stuff, that’s me. Hope you stick around. ;)

Back to School Mini Sessions

Hey Hey!

So Maddie starts school TUESDAY! Oh my goodness. My baby is growing too fast.
I had to get some funky school shots of her before she starts and this session lasted a total of 2 minutes! It rained right after we got out there to shoot, but as you can see we were still able to get some cute stuff.

Soooo, I decided to offer Back to School Mini Sessions. I’m not a big fan of the pictures they do at school, but I buy them anyway because I feel guilty. I always cross my fingers someone will make Emma laugh so I actually will get a real smile from her.
So, I like to have my own little twist on school pictures and thought you guys might want in on it:)

If you have a child starting school{ nursery school, preschool, or elementary} let’s get you some super cute shots!
Peace out.
